Born to Rock
Sparky Sinn’s love for music was obvious from an early age. When he was just a toddler Sinn would, on a daily basis, sing and dance with his toy guitar and microphone along with a video tape of Billy Ray Cirus live nearly every day. Also as a toddler, when he attended wedding receptions he would let loose on the dance floor and move to the music like he was born to rock.
The first experience Sparky Sinn had with performing music was in elementary music class. he then continued singing in choir throughout junior high and high school. It wasn’t until the age of 13 when Sparky Sinn began playing music for himself. He worked as a roadie for his high school’s show choir on weekends, spending his time backstage with the band. This inspired him to want to play guitar. After saving his money, but still torn between choosing a bass guitar or an electric guitar, he made a fateful last minute decision to purchase an electric guitar. Two weeks later he performed Jimi Hendrix riffs for his classmates as part of a school project. His peers were impressed, never knowing he was self-taught in two short weeks. Their response gave him the confidence to pursue his new-found skills.
Thoz Guyz make a band
Not long after first picking up guitar for the first time Sinn formed his first band with two of his friends that had instruments, they called themselves Thoz Guyz. They played cover songs of classic rock and 80’s metal songs along with making their own songs. They performed shows that were always based on being high energy, outrageous, over the top, and real rock n’roll. It didn’t take long for Sparky to be known for being one of “Thoz Guyz”. The band was recognized for being the best band in the school and performed at every school function they could. They would steal the show. Everyone knew Thoz Guyz. One of their best moments was when they performed at the homecoming pep rally. They played a cover of Every Rose Has It’s Thorn by Poison and blew everyone away. Many actually thought it was a recording. Sinn recorded his first tracks and also first learned how to produce music with Thoz Guyz. Sparky Sinn was a part of this completely self taught band all throughout high school. This experience taught him what it takes to be a musician- practice, dedication, and self drive.
Going Wild
After graduating high school sparky sinn and the bassist of Thoz Guyz decided to take things to the next level by searching the internet to find the best musicians in the state to form the best arena rock band possible. After many auditions they found the perfect singer and drummer to form the supergroup Wild Rose. Having the rockstar look and attitude, they performed covers from many of the greatest hard rock bands and musicians of all time. They also had a full set of kick ass originalmetal music and a high energy show. They practiced for a few months and then performed their first show at Shooter’s Hideaway, a venue in Des Moines, Iowa. They recieved an amazing response from the owner of the venue, and the audience, and the band was asked to perform for the big halloween show. They would perform alongside major touring acts like the Hollywood band Miss Crazy. That show was never tohappen because just after the first the drummer of Wild Rose, Wrex Hill, was in a near fatal car crash. He broke some bones. Wild rose was forced to go on hiatus while he healed. Upon his return the band recorded 3 tracks at Skyline Studios for their debut album. Unfortunately the album was never completed and the band ended up going their separate ways in the summer of 2008. Wrex Hill, the drummer of Wild rose, then went on to drum for the well known Nashville country recording artist Douglas Acres.
Rock Can’t Be Taught
In the fall of 2007, while actively playing with Wild Rose, Sparky Sinn attended Iowa State University to study business. Among many other classes Sparky Sinn also got his only formal music knowledge by taking Music 101 and The history of rock n’ roll. He attended the University for one year and realized that the music courses he attended were his favorite part of the college. That, along with actively being in a good band, influenced Sparky Sinn to want to use his skill to pursue music full time. Although college was a good experience for Sinn, he left Iowa State in spring of 2008 to make his dreams of rock n’ roll success a reality.
POISED
After leaving Iowa State University and with his band Wild Rose unraveling, Sparky Sinn started looking for another band. He found an ad on Craigslist for an already established Poison tribute band called Poised looking for a new lead guitarist to play the part of Cece Deville. Loving 80‘s metal and over the top high energy shows sparky tried out and was a perfect fit. Poised played all of Poisons biggest hits along with the look and showmanship of 80’s Poison. They played alot of shows and got a great response. The most notable show Sparky Sinn had with Poised was performing at Volume in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, opening for Hollywood touring band Dirty Penny. Sparky enjoyed the experience he had with Poised but wasn’t creatively satisfied playing only covers.
WisconSINN
Wanting to find a serious original band, Sparky left Poised and set out to take the ultimate leap to find a serious band that would do anything to be successful. He was willing to do anything or go anywhere to be in a band with seriously dedicated musicians. After putting ads all over the country on Craigslist, he found a drummer from Wisconsin willing to drive to Iowa to try out. The tryout went great and the drummers willingness to drive to Iowa showed Sparky Sinn his dedication. Soon after the tryout Sparky Sinn moved to Wisconsin to form the band Strip Tease. Strip tease played together for about a year and a half, trying out many different singers and musicians to fill the band. Although they were a good band, with their own music and covers of great new and old rock n’ roll songs, the band was never able to find a solid full line up of serious musicians. Fed up with the inability to find a serious band to play with full time while in Wisconsin, Sparky started formulating a plan to take his music career into his own hands.
Let The SINN Begin
While his band Strip Tease wasn't panning out to be what he wanted it to be, Sparky Sinn began creating a solo project that he called SPARKY, based off his nickname he received years earlier. The project was to be a one man guitar shredding show where Sparky would bring his technical guitar shredding skills and innovative music to the world. He recorded and released 5 tracks Under his project Sparky. The sound of SPARKY was a wicked combination of catchy dance beats, keyboard, and hard shredding guitar. Consistent with the rest of his music career, Sparky was all about putting on an entertaining and original show. He started using different combinations of neon and glow in the dark colors on his clothes and equipment to present a completely unique and different look. The project Sparky created in Wisconsin was just a first glimpse into what would later become known as SINN X.
Going Hollywood
While Sinn worked on the creation of his own solo show he couldn't help but think about his dream of moving to Hollywood, California to play lead guitar in a band and rock the sunset strip, just like his heroes.
Sinn began searching the Los Angeles ads on myspace music. He was looking for a band to fit his high energy rock n' roll style. One the first ads listed sounded exactly like what he wanted. The ad was looking for a high energy lead guitarist for a serious already well established Hollywood band named SPEKTRA.
SINN decided to send them audition videos of his guitar skills…...
They were blown away by his skills and wanted him to move out to Hollywood, California where the band is was based. 2 months later after saving some money Sinn moved to Los Angeles, California where he would meet his new bandmates. They practiced 3 times and 2 weeks after arriving in California Sinn performed his first Hollywood show on the Sunset Strip at the famous Key Club, as the new lead guitarist of Spektra.

In his time Performing as a lead guitarist in Hollywood Sparky got invited to attend the world famous NAMM convention ... the worlds largest music convention.....
He managed to pick up many different sponsorships and endorsement deals with many big name companies. Including Coffin Case, In-Tune Guitar Picks, and Mudd Guitars.
He spent years in Hollywood performing all over in some the worlds most famous venues living out some of his biggest rock n Roll dreams. Headlining the world famous Whiskey-A-Go-Go on many different weekend and Performing with many multi platinum big name acts....

Sparky SINN of SINN X
Forged out of the same steel that gives metal music its attitude and powered by the high energy that is electronic dance music, Sparky Sinn’s solo project SINN X will jump start you heart, warp your mind, and make everyone move to the sound of the future.
With ten years experience as lead guitarist and singing back up vocals in many great bands, Sparky Sinn uses his talent and innovation to mastermind his greatest music project so far, SINN X. By fusing his skills as a musician and his knowledge of technology together sinn has created a hard hitting electrified sound and a mind blowing live visual experience that sets the mood and makes people want to party all night long.
First imagined while living in Wisconsin in 2008 sinn x was just a side project for Sparky Sinn while his main focus at the time was still on being a lead guitarist in his band Strip Tease. Originally based around flashy complex guitar, some keyboard playing, and hard hitting dance beats it was just a glimpse into the future of music for Sparky Sinn and his solo project SINN X. He recorded 5 tracks as SINN X before leaving wisconsin and moving to Los Angeles, California in 2009 to be lead guitarist of the well establish Hollywood rock band Spektra. Never abandoning his vision of a guitar based hard electronic dance project, he continued recording tracks for SINN X while playing shows all over L.A. and California with his main focus at the time Spektra. He accomplished alot of his biggest rock’n roll dreams in his time with Spektra by tearing up Hollywood and the Sunset Strip but he still wanted more creatively, along with touring and performing music all over the country.
In late 2009 Spektra began recording its debut album Sweat and Blood with accomplished producer Macy Malone from the legendary hollywood band The Peppermint Creeps. They recorded for weeks and during this time he felt the chemistry of Spektra start to unravel, this is also when he first discovered european hardstyle dance music. The impact of finding hard dance music is when he really became torn between his success with Spektra and his dreams of creating an innovative over the top hard electronic dance experience. Having to make one of the hardest decisions of his life Sparky followed his belief in the future of music being electronic dance.
Taking his future into his own hands, he started focusing on his twisted vision for SINN X full time. With a plan and some of the money that was intended for college, he purchased his own brand new professional recording studio SINN STUDIOS so he could begin to make professional quality music. he also purchased lights for a full light show, featuring lasers, strobes, projector visuals, and black lights. After purchasing what he needed have the kind of over the top music experience he dreamed of he began recording and planning to change the world with his own twisted music vision.
In the spring of 2010 Sinn performed at the largest student organized event in the U.S., VEISHA in Ames, Iowa Iowa State University. He performed for 8 hour and packed the place the whole time. It was definitely the most out of control party on campus. At this show he released his first promotional cd and it was a great first experience for Sparky and SINN X. He continued working to officially release SINN X, in this time he played a few shows and parties, notably including the DRINK ALL DAY FEST and returned the next year for DRINK ALL DAY FEST 2.
The first real official release of Sinn X happened in Nov. 2012, Sparky Sinn was asked to donate signed merchandise to a charity by RockStars Uncensored (an internet radio show on URLRadio.com) to be send to american soldiers over seas during the holidays. He proudly donated 40 signed lp’s to be sent to the soldiers and was asked by Laura Hargrove, the host of Rockstars Uncensored to be interviewed on the show. On dec. 6th SINN X 2012 debuted on RockStars Uncensored with Laura Hargrove releasing 3 new tracks RIP SAW, INTO THE FUTURE, and XPERIENCE. They were played live on www.urlradio.com along with a very entertaining uncensored hour long interview with Sparky Sinn. With an audience of 2 million listeners worldwide and translated into 15 different language the show aired with overwhelmingly good response to the music of SINN X. The tracks are now in rotation on the station so go to www.urlradio.com and listen for the tracks and request to hear some SINN X.
